I’m not exaggerating when I say that I fall asleep dreaming about the perfect summer breakfast plate: few things on this earth make me happier than a ruby red plum, heirloom tomato, or really, any berry at all in the middle of June. Paired with some jammy eggs or an omelette—and some form of bread—and I’m set up for a high-energy/happier day.
One
Red plums, pink cosmo blueberries, raspberries, sourdough english muffin with french butter, and a fried egg with sumac and oregano.
Two
Omelette with chives, heirloom tomatoes, simple greens, and blue cheese.
Three
Fresh peas warmed in a little butter, sesame toast, bacon, an over-easy egg, lots of chives and dill.

Avocado with lime, chili crisp and flaky salt; omelette-ish eggs, a sourdough biscuit and pink peppercorns.
